Susan Jackson-Walker, Ph.D.
Dr. Jackson-Walker is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides therapy to
children, adolescents, couples and families. She has a specialty in pre-teen and
teen issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, school
anxiety, and parent/teen conflict. In addition, she has special expertise in
working with children and teens who have undergone trauma, or who have
pediatric/medical problems (particularly GI issues, such as abdominal pain,
irritable bowel syndrome, constipation/ encopresis, IBD etc.).
Dr. Jackson-Walker conducts psychological evaluations with children,
adolescents, and young adults, assessing ADHD, school and learning issues, and
Dr. Jackson-Walker received her B.A. from Vassar College and her M.A. and Ph.D.
in Child/Family Clinical Psychology at Michigan State University. She completed
her internship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC, and did a
postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent Health at University of Maryland Medical
Center. She has been involved in training new psychologists for over 10 years in
university and medical settings.
